Starsoft is built on what we call our Neurosensory Formula — a combination of three actives working at the skin level during application:

• 4-T-Butylcyclohexanol is a cosmetic active recognized in dermatological research as a skin-soothing agent that reduces sensations of skin discomfort. It's why clients consistently describe Starsoft as the most comfortable hard wax they've experienced.
• Tamanu oil (Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil) is a botanical extract long used in skincare for its skin-conditioning properties, helping skin feel calm and nourished during the service.
• Vitamin E (Tocopherol) is an antioxidant that helps protect the skin and leaves it feeling soft and conditioned after every pull.

The wax itself uses Starpil's pioneering Microbead Technology — small uniform beads that melt fast and evenly, eliminating cold spots that cause uneven application. Working temperature sits at 55–60°C — the lowest in our line and significantly cooler than most hard waxes (which run 70–80°C). That 15–25° gap is why Starsoft is the formula of choice for hypersensitive, dry, and mature skin types.
