A note on stock

If you've hit a sold-out button on our site this fall, we're as frustrated about it as you are.

Here is what happened. We increased our orders this year, and demand grew faster than we did. More estheticians switched to Starpil, more of you stocked up, and the wax we planned for sold through ahead of schedule. On top of that, the cost of the ingredients that go into our formulas went up, which makes every production run harder to plan.

We're working with our team in Spain right now to change how we plan and produce, so the formulas you rely on stay on the shelf. We want this resolved as soon as possible, and we'll keep you posted as it moves.

Until then, three things will help:

  • Order when you see it. Please don't hold out for a sale. When a formula is in stock, we can't promise it will last, and restocks are selling through fast.
  • Turn on restock alerts. Tap "Notify Me When It's Back" on any sold-out product page and we'll let you know the moment it's back.
  • Watch for preorders. We're opening preorders soon, so you can lock in your wax before it lands.
